Mr. Pulliam is currently the Construction Manager of the Savannah Pines Mississippi Development Authority Long Term Workforce Housing Project funded by the Katrina Community Development Block Grant (project value $58 Million).  

Some of his responsibilities at Savannah Pines include:  estimating project costs, establishing budgets, monitoring spending, procurement and contract reviews, scheduling material and labor resources, and quality control.
Recently, Mr. Pulliam worked as the Construction Manager of Hope Community Development Agency where he managed day to day operations, scheduled materials and labor, set budgets and monitored spending, and prepared and maintained procurement documentation.

From January 2006 to September 2010 he worked as an outside salesman for Home Town Lumber in Ocean Springs, MS.  Some of his responsibilities included:

Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with many customers (where he increased customer base by 45% in the first year), estimating materials and preparing quotes, researching and recommending new products,  locating and purchasing specialty items for customers, and monitoring customer jobs ensuring lumber and supplies were on site as needed.

Mr. Pulliam was also the Owner/ Operator of J. Pulliam Construction from February 1993 to January 2006.
